Reports overview

The back-office Reports area is your finalized view of the business: sales, payments, tax, inventory, product mix, labor, and more. Reports read completed orders and their tenders, so they reflect real, closed sales rather than in-progress carts. You can pin the reports you use most for quick access.

Before you start

  • Sign in with a role that includes reports access.
  • Pick the location and date range you want to analyze.

Steps

  1. Open ReportsThe Reports home lists every finalized report with a short description and a headline metric.
  2. Search or pinSearch by name, and pin frequently used reports to keep them at the top.
  3. Open a reportEach report opens to a detail view with filters for date range and scope.
  4. Apply a date presetUse presets like Today, or set a custom range.
  5. Read the figuresReports use realized sale time, so a sale counts on the day it was completed.

Common mistakes

  • Comparing an in-progress day to a full prior day and reading it as a drop.
  • Expecting the legacy sales table — reports read completed orders and tenders as the source of truth.

Troubleshooting

Reports says access denied.

Your role doesn't include reports; an owner or admin can adjust it under Team.

A report looks empty for today.

Confirm the date range and location, and that sales were actually completed (not just held).
