These terms summarize how visitors and merchants use Pedestal websites and software operated by Pedestal Studios Inc. Detailed merchant, dealer, and processing agreements are provided during onboarding and boarding — this page is not a substitute for those contracts.
Public website
Marketing pages at pedestalpos.com describe Pedestal products for informational purposes. Feature and hardware availability may change; status badges on Features and Hardware reflect the current public guidance.
Merchant services
Access to Pedestal POS, back office, and related apps requires an authorized merchant account. Each merchant uses a dedicated environment (for example businessname.pedestalpos.com). Users must keep credentials confidential and follow assigned role permissions.
Payments
Pedestal is software and is not a bank or payment processor. Card acceptance uses Dejavoo SPIn with a merchant's approved processor and gateway. Pedestal does not intentionally store full card numbers, CVV, or PIN data.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access another merchant's data, abuse APIs, interfere with service availability, or use Pedestal for unlawful activity.
