Go-live verification
Before your first live customer, verify the whole chain end to end so nothing surprises you at the counter. This is a focused pre-launch pass over payments, printing, catalog, and staff access — do it once the pieces are configured and again after any big change.
Before you start
- You've completed the self-boarding checklist and set up your catalog.
- Hardware is on the business network, not guest Wi-Fi.
Steps
- Run a real card test and refund it — Charge a small amount on your own card through the Dejavoo terminal, then refund it to prove both paths.
- Confirm receipts and kitchen routing — Print a receipt and, for restaurants, send a test order to confirm it reaches the right printer or Kitchen Display.
- Check the catalog on a station — Sign in on the register and confirm products, prices, and modifiers load correctly.
- Verify staff access — Have each role sign in with their PIN and confirm they can do their job and nothing more.
- Confirm displays — If you use a customer display or Kitchen Display, confirm each is paired and updating during a test sale.
Common mistakes
- Testing only a sale and never a refund — refund problems surface at the worst time otherwise.
- Going live before payment processing is confirmed active on the account.
Troubleshooting
A test charge fails.
Confirm the merchant account is active and the terminal is paired and on the same network (see “Connect payment processing”).
A station shows stale prices.
Force-refresh the station, or push a resync from the Manager app.
When to contact support
